One reason agents love to sell annuities is the minimal management they need to provide. They love the fact that they can sell you product, make a substantial commission and then look for next customer. They often provide very little help with managing the annuity. At the annuity education center, I focus greatly on the selection and management of the funds within the product. There is no additional cost for this service. Also, in specific situations, I will be willing to take over your annuity.  This does not require you to sell your product. You are simply changing the agent of record. Call me for details.
